LOOT!!!!!!

The Quilters Unlimited quilt show opened today at 10:00am!  And here's a funny story.  I left my house at 9:30 and pulled into a parking space at 9:45 and pulling into an adjoining space from the opposite direction was my bee friend Linda!  OMG!  What are the odds on THAT happening??  We couldn't have tried to plan that and actually have it work, right???
Welllllllll, I tried to be good....and....
I WAS!!!  I was a good shopper, right? :-)

Check out all this LOOT!!!!!!

I got some awesome patterns, including
June's Schnibble pattern "State Fair".

Check out these adorable Halloween fat quarters!!

I loveeeee variegated thread for quilting!!

And , of course, a few pieces of fabric...
some charm squares,
 a few new Christmas yards,
some watermelon fabric,
some Easter egg fat quarters,
a bundle of white on cream
 and a cute summer panel.

And I have a three day pass....
hmmm....

Man, It's Hot!!

I've been needing some fun new summery tops,
so I found some really awesome bright fabrics
and have cut out three camp shirts.

This is "Flower Shower" from Michael Miller.

This is "Petal Punch" from Hoffman.

And this is "Vera's Garden" from Kaufman.

I've finished two so far and maybe tomorrow after the quilt show, I can finish another one!!  I love those fabrics... those tops will look great with capris!!

It feels like Christmas Eve as a kid...
the Quilter's Unlimited quilt show begins tomorrow!
I can't wait!!  I've been saving up for months!
I'll post some photos of it tomorrow!
Wish you were all coming with me to the show!!

CGQC and OPAM finishes for May

My Schnibble choice for May
 was the Houseboat pattern.

I made this table runner from the
scraps leftover from my Caliente quilt.

I made this bargello flag quilt
 for over my mantle.

I made a black and white purse
 with interchangeable sashes.

I made this wallhanging for
 June from stash scraps!

I loved the design so much,
 I made 4 placemats, too.

And still into watermelons,
I made this "Slice of Summer".

And I made this cute
little tabletop quilt, too!

Can you tell I'm soooooo
ready for summer????
