Fun Weekend Sewing

I did finish my Morning Joe Schnibble top, but am looking for a backing to use for it!

And as I used a layer cake cut into four charm packs, to make the Schnibble,

I had two charm packs left to make other things!!

The collection is Moda’s “In From the Cold” by Kate Spain.

I love the soft colors and her use of soft gray and aqua with the traditional Christmas colors!!

I made 6 placemats from the leftover charm squares and a bit of yardage!

I also had 2 candy bar mini-charm packs from Kate Spain’s “Joy” collection… which coordinate well with the previous fabrics.

So I just sewed them together and grid quilted it to make a mall table topper!

It will be perfect on the old sewing machine treadle table in the morning room!!
