Two Finishes for June!

I did finish the Window Screen wall quilt.

While I do not usually back my quilts in muslin,

I did this time as it was included in the kit!

However using it this time made it fun to look at the quilting from the back of the quilt!!

This kit had the instructions and makings for two small wall quilts.

The second one utilizes the same fabrics to make this Picket Fence quilt.

I liked making this one, too!

Using a glue stick instead of fusible was an interesting technique.

When the pieces are small, I’d use it again.

But I think using fusible is better for larger pieces.

Last weekend was our local annual quilt show.

I went, of course, and totally forgot to take photos to post!!

But my dear friend, Linda, was so kind to take some for me to use!!

It was fun to wander the aisles through the vendor sections.

I love seeing the quilters of all different ages at the show.

Some just beginning to quilt and some who have been doing it for years… some decades!!

What did you do over the weekend??
