When I put out my summer decor stuff this year, I realized I needed a summer table runner for the morning room!
So, when I went looking through my drawers of kits and pre-cuts, I found this cute little kit from Connecting Threads.
The pattern is from Fig Tree and Co. called Lollipops!
I loved making this and it was quick and easy, too!!
I had this patriotic fabric for the backing in my stash, too!!
My summer decor is Americana, Raggedys, chickens and sunflowers!!
I’ve been super busy these last few days getting last minute things done in readiness for my total knee replacement surgery on Monday morning!!
Thank you all so much for your sweet comments and wishes for a great outcome!! I will gladly take all the good wishes and prayers I can get!!
It will be a week or so before I get back here to let you know how it all went! So, have a great July 4th, y’all!!
Very cute runner! Good luck with the surgery. I'll probably need it someday in the not too distant future.

ReplyDeleteIt will be so nice that you will have Yogi to take care of you post-op! I hope you have a speedy recovery. Happy 4th of July!
ReplyDeleteGood luck Monday morning!!! I've had both knees done and it's the best thing I ever did. The therapy is a lot of work, but worth the effort. When I had the 2nd. one done 4 years ago, I was up and walking about 3 hours after surgery. Needless to say, I was a bit surprised when they came to take me for a walk around the halls, but the sooner you start exercising your new knee, the better off you'll be. I had a fabulous surgeon, who travels around the country teaching his technique, so I was very fortunate indeed. The only time a walker was necessary, was in the hospital, and when I came home, a cane was all that was necessary. I will pray that you are just as lucky as I was. Keep us updated on your progress, but I'm sure nurse Yogi will be the best medicine you could ever want. I will be thinking and praying for you on Monday morning. lv2bquilting2@comcast.net
