A Bit More Curio!!

I just posted a few days ago about finishing my March Schnibble in time for the online parade. Whew!

When I was trying to find the needed 2 charm packs of the Curio collection for the quilt, I could  not find one place that still had 2 packs for sale, so I purchased a Layer Cake instead.

So, I cut the Layer Cake squares in two, setting aside one “half” stack for later and just used the other half, split again into two stacks of 5” squares for the Schnibble quilt.

So, what to do with the remaining half of the Layer Cake???  I arranged the 5” by 10” pieces on my design wall, along with a few 5” squares leftover from the quilt, to make a bed warmer / table runner!  Love the versatility!

Four strips wide by about 10 strips long gave me a runner 18” by 90”!  I had some yardage of one of the florals in the collection for the backing and used a stash fabric for the binding.

I free-motion quilted it with leaves!!

I really like it on my dining room table for spring!!  And no leftovers to store away!  YAY!
