Yes, I'm bad!
Instead of going home after work and
getting busy finishing the June Schnibbles
which is up on my design wall....
I made the mistake of sitting
in my red chair and picking up
a novel I am reading...
And that was that!
No sewing... so engrossed in this great book
that I sat there reading until I had
to get up to make dinner!
Didn't sew a stitch!
sigh...
Now what's wrong with that? I love to read! I while away many, many hours reading.
ReplyDeleteI don't even think I would have made dinner...LOL
ReplyDeleteBut my "read" of choice would have been a Bernina Manual......I'm a real sick-o. LOL
Oh yes, but you still have today!!!!
ReplyDeleteI started this book, gave it a good 100 pages, then just gave up. Very rare for me, but I just couldn't stand it.
ReplyDeleteI am alternating a lot of reading and sewing these days. I am reading The Lacuna by Barbara Kingsolver and recently finished the trilogy by Steig Larsson, The Girl W/ the Dragon Tattoo, etc.
ReplyDeleteYou can whip that design wall into submission in no time-- don't sweat it!
Wonderful thing to do! Everyone needs a little time to unwind and not have to think. Reading is so relaxing and I love how it takes you into another world. Good for you Polly!
ReplyDeleteLove your Schnibbles - and I'm seriously glad that you got to relax and enjoy a book! It's so nice to have a change of pace sometimes!
ReplyDeleteHmm, glad to know that you are "normal." But I do love to see all of your projects! How is your shoulder?
ReplyDeleteIs State Fair ready? Bet it is!! :-) I'll look for you in the parade.
