I just can't resist showing you all
these adorable photos I snapped
of my sweet Yogi the other day
in my sewing room.
He has a bed up on on my
sewing cabinet in front of
the window overlooking
the deck and backyard.
He always starts out wide eyed
and chipper... nosing around the
fabric and stuff laying on the top.
Sometimes he watches out the window
for those pesky squirrels
who sun-bathe on the deck below.
And if he's there when the sun is
coming in through the window,
he basks in the light
and slowly his eyes begin
to close...
and his head lowers...
then he's out.
Is he not just the cutest thing
EVER????
My third son
Yogi!
OHHHHHHHHH!!! Yogi is just adorable and looking at these pics makes realise how much I still miss our furry friend. :(
ReplyDeleteoh he is just a sweetie--love those photos. I love to watch Otis fall asleep like that too!
ReplyDeleteYogi is just TOO cute..... you need to make one of those photo calendars just of him! Wouldn't that make a great gift? Lots of places to do it online......

Oh my, how absolutely adorable!!!
ReplyDeleteHe is precious! Isn't it cute watching them as they literally fall sleep? My dog Katie does the same thing - the eyes go half mast with her head stil raised and the next thing you know, her chin is on the ground / paw / edge of whatever & she's dozing. It's quite endearing!
ReplyDeleteOMG, got to love your westie, I have one too, named Jock. Just too cute, does Yogi sit and watch you quilt like my Jock?
ReplyDeleteCute westie! I have a westie named Maizie, and it's too bad Yogi and Maizie can't meet because they have an awful lot in common. You know, observing squirrels in the back yard, taking naps in the sunshine and falling asleep in the sewing room on her own quilt. Such a sweetie.
ReplyDeleteLeslie and Diane from the above comments- I could not reply to your comment because I don't have your email address...so, thankyou for the sweet comment and thank you for visiting my blog! Come back soon! :-) Polly
ReplyDeleteYogi is such a cutie! Just made me smile. :)
ReplyDeleteAwww! So cute. I miss my Westie, who died several years back. I love it. Thanks for sharing!

What a cutie pie!
ReplyDeleteLOL Polly, you're right he is just too cute, and too adored as well! I bet you don't spoil him at all do you? Hehe
ReplyDeletePolly,
ReplyDeleteHe's so cute! Makes me want to reach out and rub him behind the ears. My Rusty doesn't like my sewing room. It's the strange sounds:) I recently moved his old bed near the door. He still watches me from the hallway or his bed on the landing. Thanks for sharing your Yogi with us!
Polly,
ReplyDeleteI love your blog and always look forward to pictures of Yogi. Your projects are great too. My Sadie, also a Westie, loves to watch the squirrels too. The sun also makes her sleepy.
HO my word, Polly. I love the progression of his eyes...and his head wavering....
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, too adorable.
SO Cute! OH how I miss my Westies!
ReplyDeleteYogi is so adorable, quit a nice quilting companion!
ReplyDeleteHE IS TOO CUTE...JUST LIKE MY WESTIE, FERGUS.
ReplyDeleteI MUST SAY THOUGH, YOURS LOOKS SO CONTENT...
Awwww he is so cute - looks like such a little happy character. Certainly has me smiling.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness...he is adorable! Such a loyal friend.
ReplyDeleteHe is so gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteLove and hugs Gina xxx
I had a sweet little Westie several years ago and she was SUCH a doll. I'd LOVE to have another some day.
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Our lil doggie does the head tilt thing and it cracks me up!
ReplyDeleteMy son's name is Leeapaul and he rules our house like a king which is why sometimes we call him "King Charles". Sometimes people can not understand that he is my child not my pet. Your third son is adorable.
ReplyDeleteHe's Precious! Aren't our pets fun? Our doggies twist their heads like yours as if they're really concentrating on trying to understand. If you dare to say "chicken chew bone" their heads twist almost off! LOL
ReplyDeleteI love your Yogi...I have a Westie also, Molly....she is such a wonderful dog...we love her to death as I can see you loving Yogi as well...they are so much fun...Molly is 8 years old...aren't they the greatest??
ReplyDeleteYour 'son' is very handsome! I love Westies!
