My favorite gift is the one I am getting this year. The whole family is going on a Cruise the week before Christmas. YAHOO!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite gift of the past few years was the photo calendar that our girls made for us, with tons of pictures of all of the grandchildren. We got 2 copies - one for my office and one for my husband's home office - so we've been able to enjoy it all year. I hope they do this again this Christmas.

ReplyDeleteMy favourite gift was 4 years ago when I had ALL my family here for Christmas. We had a fabulous festive time. The big kids putting bikes together Christmas morning for the little ones and everyone taking turns riding around....
My favorite gift was 4 years ago when my son was released from the hospital on Christmas Eve . He was almost killed in a car accident that Nov 11 and suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury. We still had many month of outpatient therapy ahead but it was such a miracle to see him walking out of that hospital! Best gift ever!

2) I feel ya on the power! We Sat last night for a little over 3 hours without power, and the weather was on the single digits! Turns out there was a bus accident.
3) I have to say I'm looking forward to this years 'gift' my family is not exchanging gifts. We are instead flying to Florida to spend tome with my brother in law! He is stationed in Orlando! We are spending a weekend in the keys, a night in the everglades, and maybe hitting a theme park. It will be a memory to cherish!

I love my original engagement but he knew that I alway hope to have a ruby one instead. However anything my husband gives me is great, suppose it cause I guide him thru the selection process. My favorite gift of the last five years is the one my husband gave me two years ago. A mother's ring containing the birthstones of my two sons, one of which I lost in 2004. I treasure it.

ReplyDeleteNormally we don't "do" presents at Christmas. Two years ago we played a gift-game though, the gifts weren't the best, but I love those games. :)
