This month’s Schnibble project is a Little Bites sampler quilt called (duh) “Sample”. Historically, I’ve never really liked sampler quilts…
But I did like the sampler quilt version with the taupe polka-dotted background on the cover of the pattern.
And I must be honest and admit that I thoroughly enjoyed making this quilt…
and I do love how it turned out!! Love the backing, too!
It was fun to make each block differently. You don’t get bored, for sure!!
Lots of playing with fabric placements!! Such fun!!
I made mine with Pat Sloan’s Bobbins and Bits collection, which I also love!!
So, Yogi is wondering where the heck spring went? It was 33 this morning again!!
Your wee sampler quilt is GORGEOUS. I am pleased you ended up enjoying making it. Love that range of Pats fabrics. Have some in my stash.

Your sampler mini is gorgeous!!! I really love the fabrics you chose :) I opted not to make it this month so I broke my consecutive finishes. I knew I had too much to do and that I just couldn't fit it in. It was chilly in Northern California today too. Yogi is really cute!

Your Schnibbles looks great! I've finished my top, too, just need to quilt it. But I couldn't stop with just a few blocks and ended with 25;-) They're quite addictive, aren't they? And if Yogi still looking for spring he needs to come to Germany .. it's here:-)

ReplyDeleteYour little sampler turned out so darling! I used the same fabric line on some banners I made last year and loved working with it. It was that fabric line that helped (like I need help to spend $$) me decide to buy the cute bobbin earrings you featured in one of your blogs! You did a great job on your project!!

I love that line and started a (different) sampler in it about a year ago (but of course was distracted and haven't worked on it in awhile!!) "-) Hope it warms up for you soon!!
