  6. I am a follower. You know, I'm not really sure what my favorite gift was. Truth be told, I don't even recall presents. As a child of parents who had a bitter divorce when I was young, holidays were just always emotional messes. Probably more than you really wanted to know, but, sadly, it's all I recall. :/ As a mother of two young children, the best gift I think ever possible is watching the join and wonder of Christmas thought the eyes of a child.

  7. My favorite Christmas gift was a green Schwinn bicycle.

  8. I am a follower, and I think if I read it right you want us to leave another comment about our favourite Christmas present as a child? Sorry if I got it wrong.

I remember playing with these Barbies at my grandmothers house when I was little, otherwise I never played with barbies but I knew these were old and special :-) okay did I insult your age enough?? lol sorry
My favorite present was a bike, I had wanted one but all the presents were small that year, then the last present was a little pouch with some plastic stuff and an oil can, then my dad gave me the keys to the shed and it was out there!! I cried :-) it was teal and purple and 5 gears!

  44. My birthday is close to Christmas so my most favorite memory gift as a child was a "combo" gift from my parents - an organaire. What is an organaire? Well, back then it was what they call a "keyboard" today with legs. It had several different "organ" sound keys and "to this day", it's my fondest gifted memory.

  60. We had the very first Barbie as well. Our dad was killed when we were young and after the burial, we took our Barbie's and buried them in the backyard by the gas tank. We moved away the next year and a few years later our grandfather bought our old homeplace. 20 some odd years later we had him dig around the tank, and sure enough they were still there. He accidentally chopped the head off of one with the shovel digging but the other 2 were in tact.

My favorite toy would have to be the doll who had the button on her back that made her hair short or long.. You pushed the button and pulled on her hair to make it long... and you wound a knob on her back to make it short. My youngest has my doll now. She is 31 and hopes to have a daughter one day to hand it down to. If not, hopefully my grandson will have a little girl who can play with it.

My favorite Christmas gifts as a child - a watch that I think I still have and my Barbies. I also can tell you - my most memorable one. A microscope that I opened before my mother got home from work after her night shift( she was a nurse). It was a most horrible Christmas because of our early opening of gifts. When things arrive in the mail early- I never open them until the right day. I learned a valuable lesson that day.
    Season's Greetings,

  147. That is a beautiful bag. The link to see how you made it is a dead link sadly.

Oh gosh, if I'm not mistaken that Barbie was released the year I was born or the year before. So yea, I'm not too far behind you in that age thing. LOL

My most memorable gift as a child has to be my Easy Bake Oven. I just LOVED that thing and used it almost daily. I always made a special treat for my Grandpa every Sunday when he visited for Sunday Dinner. Now I've looked at those ovens for my Granddaughter and don't even recognize them anymore. Now they look like a spaceship or something. LOL

I am a follower on GFC as well as by email.
Thank you and have a wonderful holiday season.

When we got got home Santa had filled our stocking with nuts, apples and oranges. I got a hickory dickory dock clock one year that I loved ! I'm following you by email. Cute blog and super cute bag. Thanks a bunch! Merry Christmas!

  150. Probably the best childhood gift at Christmas was a bike with training wheels.

  153. I am really about to disclose my age when I tell you abut my favorite Christmas gift. I was about 8 years old, and my Mom gave me a bride doll that a friend had dressed for me. I still remember the pearls and pearl bracelet!
