Well, it’s officially closing and moving week!! YAAAAYYY!
We have final walk-through then closing on Wednesday morning!! Woo hoo!!
And guess who is excited beyond belief??
Me, too!! Even though I had to pack up my sewing machine for the time being!!
I’ve packed up the fabric I had here in the apartment.
All the magazines and books and pre-cuts here!
And have just begun to pack up the rest of the apartment stuff!! Thus the move begins!!
It may be a while before my next post!! But do stay tuned!! When the moving journey ends then the decorating journey begins!!

ReplyDeleteGood luck! I'll be waiting for pictures, too.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the move. May it be your last one for a long, long time. (I hate to move!)
ReplyDeleteYour home looks wonderful, I hope it doesn't take too long before you can put your feet up and enjoy.
ReplyDeleteYour new home looks wonderful! Good luck unpacking! :-)
ReplyDeleteYogi is obviously resting up so he can supervise the movers. Have fun!

ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Now starts the fun part, lots of hard work but worth it.
ReplyDeletePolly, how wonderful! I'm truly happy for you (and Yogi). Lots of hugs. Sending you good vibes for an easy and fast move in....you deserve the best.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful..the light at the end of the tunnel is here. I hope all goes well with your closeing and moveing in.
ReplyDeleteSQUEAL! I am so psyched for you!
ReplyDeletePolly, I know just how you feel, because 17 years ago, we built our dream house, and it's still my dream home. It's a lot of work, but, at the same time, a very rewarding experience.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure that when you get everything all set up, especially the sewing and kitchen rooms, it will all be worth it and you can sew to your heart's content in 'your space'. Hope all goes well with the move.
How exciting for you. Your new home looks fabulous. Enjoy moving into your new home and I look forward to your next post.

Oops, forgot to tell you how much I enjoy your blog, projects, photos, updates and your adorable 'child'.
ReplyDeleteHave a safe move! It looks gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteMake sure you take an independent construction inspector with you when you go for your final walk through. He needs to check everything about the house, construction methods, down to the last detail including running water over the roof to make sure the water drains properly from the flashing, downspouts, grading on the landscaping etc. etc. There is a 500 point check you need to have done, before you sign off. This is really important when buying a tract house like this.
ReplyDeleteHappy moving day!
