The Giving Thanks- Quilters Blog Hop Party lasts from Thursday, November 21st through Tuesday, November 26th!  So, what am I giving away?

I’m giving away 2 Moda charm packs of their “Peace on Earth” collection by 3 Sisters, and a Schnibble pattern called “Imagine”, of which the quilt on the front of the pattern is actually made from this collection!!  Oh, I will ship internationally, too!  The more the merrier!

    I've followed for a very long time! My fav Thanksgiving food has to the the Mac and Cheese Casserole that they made on the Chew TV cooking show a couple of years back. Made with bacon, winter squash, smoked Grueyre and marscapone cheese. A real adult version of heaven and a family favorite now! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

    Polly I follow you on Bloglovin. When my son was a little one my mother made him what he called "Pink Salad". It's a mixture of cottage cheese, cool whip, crushed pineapple and red jello. Sounds awful but the kids love it. :) blessings, marlene

    I've been following your blog for quite awhile now and really enjoy receiving your e-mails. As far as my favorite Thanksgiving Day favorite food, no doubt about it, is the stuffing, I've taught all our kids how to make stuffing, so that no matter whose turn it is to have the holiday, the stuffing remains the same, and since we all like it that way, it works out well. BTW, Happy Thanksgiving day to you and your family, including Yogi.

    I really love pumpkin pie, but you said favorite recipe would be good so here it is:

    Triple Corn Spoon Bread

    3 Tablespoons butter, melted and cooled
    1 cup sour cream
    1 large egg
    1/2 cup finely chopped onion
    1 15 oz can whole kernel corn, undrained
    1 14 3/4 oz can creamed corn
    1 8 1/2 oz box corn muffin mix

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish with cooking spray. I like using a low and flat dish to maximize the toasty crust on top.

    In a large bowl, stir together butter, sour cream and egg. stir in remaining ingredients.

    Pour into casserole dish and bake about 1 hour until center is set and edges are lightly brown.

    Makes about 8 servings.

    We usually make 2 batches of this for Thanksgiving!
