I did finish my Morning Joe Schnibble top, but am looking for a backing to use for it!
And as I used a layer cake cut into four charm packs, to make the Schnibble,
I had two charm packs left to make other things!!
The collection is Moda’s “In From the Cold” by Kate Spain.
I love the soft colors and her use of soft gray and aqua with the traditional Christmas colors!!
I made 6 placemats from the leftover charm squares and a bit of yardage!
I also had 2 candy bar mini-charm packs from Kate Spain’s “Joy” collection… which coordinate well with the previous fabrics.
So I just sewed them together and grid quilted it to make a mall table topper!
It will be perfect on the old sewing machine treadle table in the morning room!!
Sooo? What did you do this weekend? We tried out the fire pit on the patio!
Make or work on anything fun???
the treadle table looks so pretty in the sunshine - what a fun spot to decorate. What a productive weekend. I'm always inspired by folks who get so much accomplished.
