My “Sew Mama Sew” - Givaway!!

  7. What a fantastic giveaway. My sil had a house at the lake. When it gets too hot to play outside we sew sew sew. And family and friends come sew too. It is like quilting retreat all summer long. Oh darn . . . Are we there yet.

  11. I am hoping to visit my mom and sisters in Minnesota for a week. My oldest daughter is expecting baby #4 in Oct, so I will help her out with the others when I can with some day visits to grammas' house. I follow with GFC.

This summer we are going to my nephews wedding and visiting my family in IL, then on to ID to visit a friend, next to WA and OR to visit DH kids and grands with a stop in CO to visit my DS and DDIL before getting back to NM! Whew! ! ! My DS and DDIL are expecting a baby girl in September, too. It will be a busy summer! I have been a follower for a long time, really enjoy seeing what you make!

  49. My summer vacation just ended. I went to Paris with my grand-daughter. We had a wonderful time exploring the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Sainte Chappell, and eating Parisian food.

It's supposed to be a welcome to the family type thing but really you should call it "hazing" (but with 8 kids under 10 instead of frat brothers). but hey, at least it's in cancun!   114. We will be sticking around home this summer. My husband received approval for disability retirement this week, so we don't know what our finances will be. I plan to do a lot of quilting and sewing, and plan to set up my sewing machine and ironing board in the garage so I can be outside.

  119. I do enjoy your blog and love the giveaway! Summers always get full. The summer begins by attending the adoption ceremony of a little grandson. Then we will have a couple church convention. July begins by heading to Washington D.C. for the birth of another grandson!! Wheat harvest will begin, then haying, wheat planting, corn harvest, etc. And so it goes!! :-)

    1. Hi Jacqueline, I am a from the Matsqui prairie at Clayburn Village where the Tea House and old General Store is. Love the Cultus Lake area and hope you get to enjoy a vacation out that way as planned. My hubby and I are near retirement and work in Alberta and have a retirement condo in Comox now near the ocean. I also have suffered a lot of chronic illness and still dealing with it - I have my fingers crossed for your that it will allow you some enjoyment this lovely summer. Keep on Keeping on! Cheers.
