  1. That is so sad. We love our pets unconditionally just as they love us. We know we' be dealing with the same loss sooner than we want with our geriatric kitty. I'm so sorry for your loss.

  3. I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Thank you for sharing your darling Yogi with us through the years. His sweet personality transcended the computer screen and he will be missed. In time, may your memories of him bring you joy. Our pets are members of the family and I know that Yogi was blessed to be a part of yours.

  4. You and your entire family have my most sincere condolences Aunt Polly! Having just endured what you are going through 1 year ago with my sweet Gracie Lu, I completely understand the tremendous loss you feel. I am sure you already know that Yogi had the best life he could have ever wished for while on this earth, and that is completely because of you and your family. Allow yourself to grieve, take time to heal, whatever that may be......quilting was great therapy for me. Also, be open to possibilities of new loves in your life.....although Yogi can NEVER be replaced.

  8. I'm so sorry Polly! A friend once told me that the only bad thing about a dog was they don't live long enough. I can't disagree with that. Our Kenzie andCody have been gone for a while now and there is still a hole in our hearts. xoxo

  22. I am deeply saddened reading about your lost of your handsome Yogi.
I always looked forward to seeing his pictures and reading about him.
I hope you will be able to have another Westie later.
My Westie will be nine on April 21.
He will be the last one. My husband will be 85 next month and I am 78 and in a wheelchair. It is sad to realize that age will cause us to not have another Westie living with us. I treasure each day with Muffus.
I feel your lost and I will pray for you.

Yogi is over the Rainbow Bridge happily chasing all the critters with mr Brady and Casey, our terriers. I feel your pain so much. It is hard to lose a pet - darn it. He was one cute little guy who loved to go sew with you. JudyC

  61. Oh Polly! I've got tears running down my face as I look at the photos of your sweet Yogi. He was such a character and I loved popping into your blog over the last 8 years or so to see what you both had been up to. It is so hard to say goodbye to our furbabies, even when they live a VERY long and happy life as I know Yogi did. They leave paw prints on our hearts when they leave us to cross the Rainbow Bridge. I hope he and our Border Collie, Wombat, have a wonderful time chasing squirrels and birds together. Sending lots of big squooshy Bear Hugs to you. KRIS xx
