Tonight is the F.N.S.I.!!
And that fits right in…
with my new addiction!!
Granny Squares!!
O.M.G!!! They are so fun!!
I sewed two blocks this afternoon.
So, I couldn’t wait until dinner
was over and cleaned up to get
back upstairs to making them!!
Until my hubby yelled up to me…
“Get down here right now!!”
I’m starting the movie!!
What did you do tonight??
Those are darling. I have a friend in Oregon who sets her little Featherweight up in the living room and sews with hubby while watching TV. Keeps everyone happy.
ReplyDeleteThose look fabulous! I can't wait to start mine.
ReplyDeleteCute, cute blocks!
ReplyDeleteGrannie squares have been on my list of to do's for a few months now and yours have rekindled the fire. I have company now, but soon.
ReplyDeleteHey, Polly! Have you figured out a procedure to sew the blocks together? I'm tempted to make Granny Squares, but sewing them together..... Can you guess I'm a chain piecer?
ReplyDeleteI know...aren't these the most fun to make? I have set my sewing machine up by the TV, and made several the other night while I watched a movie with my husband. He didn't seem to mind and I fed my new addiction.
ReplyDeleteHow big are you going to make your quilt? I'm thinking I will make 20 (4X5)but these are so fun I may make more!
Wonderful blocks. Granny squares are addictive, once you star you can't seem to stop. Love the fabrics you're using.

ReplyDeleteI'm loving your granny squares! They are so lovely. Your colors and style and so pleasing
ReplyDeleteHi Polly,
ReplyDeleteI was wondering if you had all of your fabric stash used up yet? You have been retired almost a month, so I am sure that lots of fabric has gone through your sewing machines! Just wanted you to know that I mentioned you and Yogi in my blog yesterday.
Have a great day and stay cool!
