Not enough time, energy or money!!
My bee friends and I just got back from the Houston Quilt Festival!! HOLY COW!!
Amazing, overwhelming, innovative, inspirational energizing…just a few words that come to mind there!!
We were so thrilled to have seen the amazing red and white Ruby Jubilee quilt collection so dramatically hung!!
Over and over we remarked that there is something for everyone- so many different fabric and designs for all tastes!!
We had such a fun time!! It is exhilarating to be surrounded by others who love and understand your “bliss”!!
Now that we are back home- TIME TO SEW!
The quilt festival must be an amazing place to visit.

ReplyDeleteI bet we tripped over each other taking photos, and didn't even know it. Was that the greatest show or what!
ReplyDeleteHouston is wonderful. I would have loved to see all the red & white quilts. I've heard there w/ b a book as a result of the showing in NYC. I can't wait to see your next project or one inspired by Houston. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI agree about the "bliss" I quoted you in my quilt show blog today. I really enjoy your blog, photography, and all your quilts. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWe had that same problem: no energy! we had more time but no energy to do anything about it! It WAS fun though.
ReplyDeleteIt is very AWESOME! I went every year for about 12 years and decided I've done it enough. LOVED it when they opened the fabulous Sheraton attached TO the convention center and I stayed there every year after it opened (the swimming pool is GORGEOUS and that VIEW!!). I always took a class or classes every day so every minute was squeezed out of every day! Glad you had fun!
ReplyDeleteWow, looks like it was fantastic!
ReplyDeleteWe must have missed each other in Houston! I just posted about my trip there this morning! LOL
