Busy Day!!

snoopy new years

I held out until today to take the Christmas stuff down!  Because I put out allot less this year than ever before, it didn’t take days to get it all down and packed up and put away!!  Just today!!  Yay!

But I am tired, all the same!!  The day flew by!  I also put out my snowmen and have decided on what to make next to hang over the mantle for the winter months!!

  1. Happy New Year to your family , you and of course Yogi..
Look forward to seeing the new wall hanging.
No sewing here as I have family visiting. Lots of swimming eating and having coffees.

  2. I did the same...less decorations which meant faster clean up. We had everything down within a matter of hours. I only put out the "special" items this year and I seemed to appreciate them more. Happy New Year!

  3. I am soooo with you on this, DeAnna! More is not always the best option!! Trying to downsize ad simplify in all areas of our lives!! Moving really helped us start the process and we got rid of over half our accumulated stuff!!

  4. I did the same thing this year and it was all down in no time at all. I felt a lot less cluttered this year when everything was decorated too. Happy new year to you and your family.

  5. I spent the day putting most of my decorations away too. I was distracted by a couple of projects in my sewing room so I have a little more to do today. We did less decorating also, it was a good idea.

  6. I am thinking about procrastinating about packing up the decorations. DWH got the garlands and wreaths put away this morning. Now the inside is our little secret - at least until I get my shot for the anemia - I have no energy. Did I tell you how much I love seeing pictures of Yog? Reminds me so much of my little Brady with the same loving looks and characteristics. Hope your New Year is Joyous and Delightful. Judy C in NC
