ReplyDeleteI beat the wknter blues by looking for projects on pinterest. I also try to find cratfs and fun ideas to do with my girls. The project with the fox looks pretty simple.

I have been following your blog for a long time. I love 'watching' you make things and decorate your house with them. You have such a wonderful way of putting things together. I love winter, especially when it snows, which is not often enough here. I love to spend time in the kitchen in the winter simmering soups and stews and baking bread and cookies. And, of course, sewing!
ReplyDeleteI'm a follower, and really don't mind the winter. I would much rather be cool and cozy under a quilt than boiling hot in the summer. At this age, there is just so many clothes you can remove, before people run screaming thru the streets! hahahaha

ReplyDeleteDarn, I would love to have that cutie, Yogi (but I don't think my Lilly would be at all amused, so it's just as well he's not part of the package - LOL!) Luckily, there is a national quilt show held near me in late February/early March every year and I always know I have that to look forward to to beat the winter blues! I'm a follower!

On particularly cold winter nights I like to cuddle under a quilt and have my hands wrapped around a steaming cup of hot tea while I watch my favourite movie. Bliss!

We do not have much winter here - so seldom have to deal with not being able to be outside enjoying the sun.. but on rare occassion always retreat to the sewing/crafting room - would be a great time to work on some of the great ideas offered in your giveaway book.. I am a follower through GFC. I love to go to the fabric stores in the winter and look at all the brightly colored fabrics. My second way to beat the winter blues is to sit with a nice stitching project.
