I LOVE this fun activity that Darlene, aka Sewcalgal, organizes for us every summer!
If you read my blog much, then you know how much I adore my Westie, Yogi.
He is my constant companion in my sewing and quilting adventures.
He has a permanent bed on my sewing table in my studio. He is is sooo many pictures and posts here on my blog.
My two sons are grown and Yogi helped us with a quiet empty nest! He is our third “son”!!
If there is a quilt on any piece of furniture (which there is a zillion of in my home)
or even any piece of block of a quilt in the making that Yogi can get to, he is soooooo ON it!! LITERALLY!!
And not only does my camera LOVE Yogi, Yogi is a camera hog, too!!
A romance made in heaven, don’t you think!?! This was last year’s photo in the Pets on Quilts Show.
Here is this year’s photo-
The quilt is my own design - “Four Squared”.
We hope you are having a fun summer and staying as cool as possible in the heat! The sewing room is the perfect place to be in all this heat, right?
Well, Yogi and I sure think so!! :-)
Make sure you check out all the other pets on quilts in the show. We all love our pets!! :-)
What a charmer! And I love the yellow quilt - that's gorgeous!

Yogi is just so cute and the quilts are wonderful..
ReplyDeleteI had to giggle. I have a dog who has to be on a quilt or one in progress. I know to be very careful when doing a lay out with a quilt on the floor. I have sewed blocks together wrong after he has been on it.
ReplyDeleteWell Yogi gets MY vote! His little inquisitive face always makes me smile! Next Wednesday I will officially be an empty nester and I'm pretty sure I'm in fo a rough patch. Think I may need a Yogi, but I'm also pretty sure that there is only 1 Yogi! Thanks for sharing him with us! Your 4 squared quilt is fabulous! Great colors

These are easy patterns to use for weather that us too uncomfortable for a heavy blankie. I have starting donating these quilts at pet adoption sites. Would do do more for our animal friends. Any suggestion?
