I absolutely LOVE the artwork of fabric designer Janet Wecker Frisch.
In case you aren’t familiar with her name, she is the designer of “The Hungry Animal Alphabet”, “Woody Wonders”, “Tiny Tailors”, “Camp Santa”…just to mention a few!
Well, she’s done it again with her new Handmaids collection named-
“She Who Sews”.
I just love it!! Her artwork is fun and fresh!!
This collection is very steampunky!!
I especially love the fabric I used for the backing!!
When I finished the quilt, I only had small scraps leftover, so I ordered more fabric!!
It will make great gifts for your sewing friends and bee mates!!
And this quilt is now hanging on the wall in the entrance to my sewing room!!
Soooo, what are you working on this week?
Yogi is enjoying his sewing room naps!! In a few months, he’ll be 13 years old!!
Love your quilt! A perfect addition to a sewing room!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Polly - I love her fabric too. Have you seen her Christmas fabrics? So, so cute - older I think because I found them on her website. blessings, marlene

ReplyDeleteWell you have once again made my jaw drop. I am out of touch with what is going on and somehow this slipped right by me. Where is the fabric available? I checked a couple of the online shops I use and they didn't have it. I must have some. Thanks
ReplyDeleteWonderful quilt and what a great piece to see coming and going from your sewing room! You don't want to know what I'm STILL working on, but I'll give you a hint, lol. It involves white stuff outside. Yogi doesn't look that old!
ReplyDeleteHey Polly! Love the steampunky (we should put that in the dictionary! Tee! Hee! Hee!) feel to your sewing room quilt. And who could resist that furry little face!! I am so in love with your Yogi ... my hubby now just rolls his eyes whenever I show him a photo! :0) Happy stitching - Bear Hugs! KRIS
